Feature Friday: American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology

Happy Friday once again! We hope everyone had an amazing week and to kick off the weekend we wanted to share with you another organization leading the way in continuing education and continuing medical education in its field. The American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP) was founded in 1964 and since then has become a leader in that field not only here in the US but globally as well.

From their site “ASCCP’s goal has been to improve clinician competence, performance and patient outcomes through educational activities focused around the study, prevention, diagnosis, and management of lower genital tract disorders.” The ASSCP is a fantastic resource for all types of continuing education in the field, including a listing of eLearning courses (check them out HERE!) as well as live events and global conferences (you see a listing of future events HERE).

Physicians, nurse/nurse practitioners, PA’s and researchers can all find tremendous value in joining ASCCP and you can read more about their membership perks and how to join HERE.

The ASCCP also hosts a major international congress each year and their next one will be April 4-7, 2017 in Orlando, FL. We would strongly encourage anyone out there working in the field of lower genital tract disorders to check this event out. You’ll be able to find all current and future information on the event HERE.

As always, thanks for tuning in today and don’t forget to check out all of 2Shoes App’s blog posts HERE.
