Happy Friday! Today we wanted to feature the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and also their 2017 Annual General Conference. The CAMRT “is the national voice for MRT professionals, fostering understanding between the profession, the public and government; and encouraging collaboration with industry and other healthcare organizations to promote professional excellence in all disciplines of the profession.” The CAMRT has been serving it’s members across Canada (now over 12,000 strong!) since 1942.
If you work in the field of medical radiation in Canada we highly recommend taking a look at this organization's offerings. You can review all of the amazing resources and educational opportunities you’ll get as a member HERE.
For 2017 the CAMRT’s Annual General Conference will be held on April 27-30, 2017 in Ottawa at the Westin Ottawa. This is an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues, meet new people in your field and stay up to date with the most recent changes in your field. You can click HERE to stay up to date on the event as well as follow CAMRT through their Facebook and Twitter pages.
We hope you’ll join CAMRT next year in Ottawa for what’s sure to be an amazing event. You’ll even get to help celebrate Canada’s 150 year old birthday!
