Happy Friday! You may notice we have recently featured several Canadian organizations and we’d like to keep that trend going this week by shining the light on the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (CSHP) and specifically their Professional Practice Conference in 2017.
CSHP is an organization that is “committed to patient care through the advancement of safe, effective medication use in hospitals and other collaborative healthcare settings.” If you’re a pharmacist working in a hospital setting this is definitely an organization worth checking out. Not only do they provide their members with a ton of resources they also offer conference and educational opportunities throughout the year. If you’re interested in learning more about their membership benefits you can click HERE.
The Professional Practice Conference is Canada’s largest pharmacy conference so networking opportunities abound. You’re sure to meet other members in similar situations and also gain some great knowledge from those veteran pharmacists in attendance. You’ll also have an opportunity to learn through “active participation in problem-based workshops” throughout the event. Even though the next meeting is not until 2017 you can actually review a number of past events’ programs HERE. This is great info if you’re on the fence about going.
No specifics for this year’s event have been posted yet (we are still a ways out) but you can check HERE for updates as they come.
