The Canadian Dental Hygienists Association was created in 1963 to “provide quality preventive therapeutic oral health care as well as health promotion for the Canadian public.” Having been a leader in this world for over 50 years the CDHA is a phenomenal resource for practicing hygienists. Since we work with educational courses and events we wanted to feature the CDHA because of their wide range of educational and CE opportunities.
The CDHA’s next national conference may not be until October 2017 (you can check HERE for updates and more information as that gets closer) but in the interim members have access to several workshops and conferences as well as webinars and online courses. You’re sure to find a course that works with your schedule and can help keep you up-to-date and also maintain any CE credit hours you may need. We have included a few helpful links below that will get you where you need to go quickly:
If you’re a dental hygienists in Canada and are looking for a great source of information and continued advancement of the practice you may consider a membership at CDHA. You can see all of the membership benefits HERE.
