The Annual Canadian Surgery Forum will be on September 8-11, 2016 at the Fairmont Royal York, in Toronto. Abstract submission is now open and, to get an idea of what topics were chosen last year, here is their program which shows you how well run this conference is. This is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1), as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, approved by the Canadian Association of General Surgeons.
This is one event that brings together surgey professionals from a number of associations including Canadian Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, American College of Surgeons, and the Canadian Association of Bariatric Physicians and Surgeons, just to name a few. You are guaranteed to learn and network with others whom work around trauma, ultrasound technology, endoscopic procedures, cancer surgery and a number of other surgical practices.
From their website:
“The Canadian Association of General Surgeons promotes the training, education, continuing professional development, thoughtful practice and research essential to the provision of the exemplary surgical care Canadians expect and deserve.”
